The vehicle exterior dimension dynamic measurement system is developed based on high-speed laser dynamic scanning. The measurement process primarily includes system calibration, data preprocessing, edge-point localization, and calculation of vehicle exterior dimension data. This system features fully automatic, non-contact measurement—once the vehicle exits the test area, the system instantly computes and outputs data such as length, width, and height.
Product features:
1. The product is suitable for installation and use in various indoor and outdoor environments, without requiring additional infrastructure costs for users.
2. The detection process is fast, taking only about 10 seconds per vehicle, and enables real-time uploading of inspection data while ensuring data security and reliability.
3. The product features a simple structure, using just three laser rangefinders to complete all measurements—resulting in high technological content, low failure rate, and virtually no need for后期 maintenance.
4. Equipped with imported high-end laser scanners and an industrial-grade control computer serving as the system’s host, this setup boasts strong anti-interference capability, low environmental requirements, and consistently stable and reliable performance.
5. When vehicles enter the detection area, the system automatically measures their overall dimensions, including those of standard passenger and cargo vehicles, as well as hazardous chemical transport vehicles currently under key surveillance by public security traffic management departments, along with various specialized engineering vehicles, trailers, and cargo box length/curb height specifications.
6. The detection resolution is no greater than 1 mm, meeting the national standard requirements for vehicle exterior dimension management (all vehicle exterior dimension specifications are accurate to the millimeter).
7. Through-type rapid measurement allows for variable speed and stop-and-go functionality during the process. It can be easily installed in existing inspection workshops, enabling automatic result generation while simultaneously conducting tests on other items—making it better suited to the actual conditions of inspection stations.
8. A single inspection can simultaneously measure the length, width, and height of both the vehicle and the trailer, as well as the height of the side rails on the trailer compartment.
9. The test results can be automatically compared with standard data in the vehicle management database, enabling quick and accurate judgment for effective supervision and management of vehicles.
Meet the latest national testing standards:
GB7258-2012 "Technical Specifications for Operational Safety of Motor Vehicles"
GB21861-2008 "Vehicle Inspection Items and Methods"
GB1589-2004 "Dimensions, Axle Loads, and Mass Limits for Road Vehicles"
Technical specifications:

Automotive Dynamometer (Small Roller)
The automotive dynamometer (also known as a chassis dynamometer) is a core piece of equipment specifically designed to measure a vehicle’s output power and fine-tune its performance—making it especially essential in motorsports and the automotive performance tuning industry. In countries with well-developed aftermarket industries, such as the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, dynamometers are incredibly common in tuning shops. To meet the demands of advanced modifications, modern dynamometers are now typically equipped with robust auxiliary tuning features, including power data recording, constant-speed testing, and real-time display of power and torque outputs.
